- Backup System (Tape, DVD ROM, etc.)

10 to 15 Users

- Windows 2003 Server Standard
- Pentium 4 1.5Ghz Processor and Up
- 512MB RAM (1GB Preferred)
- 36 GB Hard Drive Space (RAID or mirrored disks preferred)

- Windows 2000 Pro, Windows XP Pro, Windows Vista Business or better. (XP Home edition and Vista Home/Basic edition will not correctly work in a domain environment.)

- Multifunction and Color printers will not be supported

SCANNERS:

- Fujitsu 5220C2 series ADF Duplex scanner (Used for EOB and full page scanning)
- Scan Shell 800 card scanner (Used for front-end Drivers License and Insurance card scanning) (Make sure Medic Scan software is included NOT PRO VERSION) (Healthpac software is NOT compatible with Amber Scan)
** Systems with 20+ users should consult Healthpac prior to hardware purchase.

HL7 INTERFACE:

There is a growing need to electronically exchange medical data and patient demographics from local hospitals and other remote facilities. Healthpac’s (HL7) Interface provides you with an industry standard HL7 electronic link to these hospitals and other remote sites. The HL7 Interface System provides a standardized methodology for the exchange of specified data between your practice management system database and other databases existing in remote facilities such as hospitals, community health networks, or other practices.

HL7 COMPATIBILITY:

HPlusPro exchanges data with all systems requiring HL7 compatibility. As more and more patients visit local hospitals and other remote facilities, there is a demand to electronically capture and download medical data and patient demographics.
